New Personalized Flow includes weekly “Discover” “Chill” and the debut of “New Releases”
October 29th, 2019:Deezer is bringing personalization to the fore for music fans as Flow finds anew home on the mobile app. Starting today, the global music streaming serviceis moving Deezer Flow, a never-ending stream of personalized tracks that arecolorfully arranged and displayed to the top of the homepage. The new “Flow”also includes the debut of a smart and personal “New Releases” feature.
For the first time, users canlisten to “New Releases,” to hear a personal mix of the newest tracks fromtheir favorite artists. Flow will suggest a selection of up to 40 tracks under“New Releases,” based on the users’ “liked” artists, albums, tracks andpersonal playlists.
Along with Deezer’s signature Flowfeature, music fans can swipe left to listen to personalized mixes from artiststhey love the most. The mixes are based on the listening tastes of each userand is updated daily.
In addition to “New Releases,”Deezer has updated its “Discovery” and “Chill” cards using Flow’s algorithm tohelp fans hear new or unheard songs, as well as tracks to unwind to. Bothpersonalized mixes are updated weekly and based entirely on your listeningpreferences.
Flow fans can always add any mixes, including “New Releases,” “Discovery” or individual tracks to their personal playlists.
